rubber seals

Single piece, small series or large series of the rubber seal – we have the right production

rubber seals

Do you need seals that are not available in standard dimensions and that are individually manufactured according to your specifications based on a sample or technical drawing? Then you’ve come to the right place!

Single piece, small series or large series of the rubber seal – we have the right production! Here you can fall back on our diverse production possibilities. We manufacture rubber seals as molded rubber parts, stamped parts, extruded as rubber profiles, cut on a plotter or using a water jet system. Due to the different production possibilities, we can accompany you from the single piece to the large series.

Water jet cut rubber seals

With the help of water jet technology, both small and large quantities can be produced. With water jet cutting, the water jet cuts contours with a pressure of up to 5,000 bar, even through the strongest materials. The cut is very precise, so that complicated parts can be manufactured with the highest dimensional accuracy and the smallest tolerances. In contrast to conventional punching technology, the cut surfaces in water jet cutting are never concave, but always one hundred percent right-angled. There are also other advantages, above all the time and cost savings.

You save time, money and resources

Drawing parts can be water jet cut in a few seconds. There are also no tool costs, since water jet cutting only requires programming and machine settings. Also significant is the low material waste during water jet cutting due to minimal parting lines. In addition, we offer the possibility to produce drawing parts on our plotters in a matter of seconds. We can use it to cut all types of rubber, PU, silicone, foil, felt, etc.

Self-adhesive film as an assembly aid for rubber seals

A self-adhesive film makes it easier to install rubber seals. When selecting the appropriate self-adhesive film, the decisive factors are the material on which the self-adhesive film is applied and the substrate to which the self-adhesive film is to adhere. In addition, the specific operating conditions and requirements, such as FDA conformity or high temperature resistance, are taken into account.

We use the following standard compounds to manufacture our seals:

We find seals made of EPDM in a large number of application areas. EPDM is particularly characterized by high resistance to ozone, UV radiation, heat and weather, as well as very good electrical insulation properties. In addition, EPDM has high elasticity and excellent dynamic properties. EPDM seals are also highly resistant to water, salt solutions, alcohol and weak acids. We manufacture custom-made EPDM seals that are optimally tailored to your application. Thanks to our decades of experience and know-how, our high-quality seals have become indispensable in many industrial sectors. We would be happy to advise you and determine an optimal concept for you individually.
As a specialist for rubber seals, we are the right partner to manufacture custom-made seals made of NBR (acrylic nitrile butadiene rubber) for you. Seals made of NBR are particularly characterized by exceptionally good mineral oil and fuel resistance, as well as a low compression set. And if very high temperature resistance and resistance to ozone, acid gases or high chemical and thermal loads are also required, then seals made of H-NBR (hydrogenated acrylic nitrile butadiene rubber) are the right choice. The seals are manufactured as molded parts, stamped parts or by water jet cutting. We manufacture exactly according to your specifications, optimally adapted to your application.
Natural rubber seals are used in many industrial sectors. Above all, the very good dynamic properties as well as the very high elasticity, cold flexibility and tensile strength characterize this material. Furthermore, seals made of natural rubber are temperature-resistant and very abrasion-resistant. We manufacture seals from natural rubber as molded parts, stamped parts, mechanically processed or cut with a water jet. We can also realize small quantities without any problems. Whether individual production or series, we will be happy to advise you and implement your natural rubber seal individually according to your specifications and requirements.
Compared to natural rubber seals, seals made of SBR have an even higher abrasion resistance and are particularly resistant to cold and fire. In addition, SBR serves as an excellent electrical insulating material. Due to the high wear resistance, seals made of SBR are used particularly in mechanical and plant engineering, as well as in shipbuilding.

We use the following standard compounds to manufacture our seals:

We manufacture a wide range of different silicone seals. Silicone offers many material properties that enable it to be used in many areas of application, e.g.

  • excellent heat, ozone and aging resistance
  • excellent insulating properties, even at higher temperatures
  • Resistance to high temperatures (-55°C to +210°C)
  • FDA compliance, food safe
  • good resistance to oils, fuels and chemicals

We produce silicone seals for a variety of industrial sectors, e.g. We manufacture custom-made silicone seals, according to your requirements and optimally tailored to the individual application.

Gaskets made of CR (chloroprene), also known as neoprene, are electrically insulating and resistant to mineral oil, ageing and ozone. CR gaskets are used in many areas where good flame resistance, good ageing properties and chemical resistance are required. We manufacture your custom-made gaskets for you.

Fluororubber seals, also known as FKM or FPM (fluororubber or fluoropolymer rubber), are characterized by their high resistance to chemicals, heat and various environmental influences. Fluororubber also has very good mechanical properties and impresses with its outstanding durability. Overall, seals made of FKM are versatile and can be found in a wide range of applications.

Vulkollan® gaskets are characterized by their special physical properties, which make them particularly suitable for certain applications. Here are some of the characteristics of Vulkollan gaskets:

High wear resistance: Vulkollan® is known for its exceptional abrasion and wear resistance. This makes Vulkollan gaskets ideal for applications where they are regularly exposed to friction and wear, such as in hydraulic cylinders, conveyor belts or rollers.

Good mechanical properties: Vulkollan® has high strength, toughness and elasticity. These properties enable Vulkollan® seals to provide a reliable seal even under high pressures and loads without deforming or failing.

Chemical resistance: Vulkollan® is generally resistant to many chemicals, oils and greases. However, resistance can vary depending on the type of chemical, so it is important to consider the specific chemical environment in which the gasket will be used.

Temperature resistance: Vulkollan® is less heat resistant compared to some other elastomers, but is still suitable for a wide range of temperatures. It can withstand temperatures from around -40°C to +80°C, depending on the specific composition.

Weather resistance: Vulkollan gaskets are generally resistant to UV radiation and weathering, making them suitable for outdoor use.

Low water absorption: Vulkollan® has low water absorption, which means that its mechanical properties are largely retained even in contact with moisture.

Due to these properties, Vulkollan gaskets are often used in demanding applications, especially in areas where high wear resistance and reliability are required, such as material handling, mining, construction and agriculture.
