rubber wheels and rubber castors

We manufacture our rubber wheels, castors, rollers, rollers or roller coatings individually according to customer specifications

rubber wheels and rubber castors

Rubber wheels, as well as rubber rollers and roller coatings are used in many different areas of industry.

We manufacture our rubber wheels, castors, rollers, rollers or roller coatings individually according to customer specifications in order to meet the desired requirements.

Different materials are used:

  • EPDM – Ethylene Propylene Diene Rubber
  • NBR – Acrylonitrile Butadiene Rubber
  • NR – Natural Rubber
  • SBR – Styrene Butadiene Rubber
  • silicone
  • IR – polyisoprene
  • BR – Butadiene Rubber
  • CR – Chloroprene Rubber
  • Viton® (FKM) – fluorocarbon rubber
  • felt
  • Vulkollan®
  • PUR – polyurethane

We can also create foamed surfaces, e.g. from:

  • cellular rubber
  • PE foam
  • PUR foam

In addition, it is also possible to combine different materials when coating a roller. For example, a soft core can be combined with an abrasion-resistant silicone coating.

Casting technology for the production of rollers and wheels

As a supplement to our homogeneous elastomers from freehand and molded article production, we offer our customers our casting technology with so-called cast elastomers. This refers to polyurethanes and Vulkollan®, which we process in a Shore hardness range of 30° to 98° ShoreA. Typical applications for cast elastomers include roll and core coatings, flap wheels (no-crush rolls) and feed rings for the corrugated board industry and other finished parts.

Flap wheels from Möllering GmbH (no-crush wheels)

Thanks to the special spoke construction, flap wheels enable the transport of very sensitive materials, which would normally be damaged by conventional wheels and rollers.

Our patent: Möllering Protection-Roundness-System MPRS

Thanks to the patented Möllering Protection-Roundness-System MPRS with a smooth transition from the running surface to the front side (without sharp edges), imprints on sensitive corrugated cardboard are greatly reduced in the event of a possible tilting of the flap wheels at high production speeds. This can prevent rejects and complaints. In addition to being used in the corrugated board industry, our flap wheels are also increasingly being used in general mechanical engineering. Examples of this can be found in the wood processing and furniture industry, laminate industry, glass industry, wallpaper industry and food industry.

Thanks to our expertise in rubber processing and the use of high-performance polyurethanes, our rubber wheels and castors have a long service life.

MOELLERING- YOUR MANUFACTURER OF RUBBER WHEELS AND RUBBER CASTORS

Rubber wheels and castors in 2-component technology

We also manufacture rubber wheels and rubber castors in the so-called 2K technology. This means that we process two different polyurethanes: e.g. a hard material for a roller core and a soft material for the tread. We can combine polyurethanes with different advantages, such as higher temperature resistance with particularly good coefficients of friction. We also use our casting technology for the production of sheet goods with a special hardness of less than 70 ShoreA for special products that cannot be obtained as standard. We are also happy to develop and manufacture PUR mixtures individually for your special requirements. By using inexpensive casting molds, we can produce almost any geometry for our customers. We would be happy to advise you and make you an individual offer.
